Choosing the Right Model (and the Right Flue Type)

When selecting a gas fire, it’s not just about the style — the installation type matters too.

Conventional flue models are typically suited to a standard brick chimney or pre-fabricated flue.
Balanced flue models are designed for homes without a traditional chimney, with flueing routed externally (model dependent).
Finishing options (fascias, trims and frets) can make a big difference to the final look — especially if you’re matching a surround, hearth or fireplace opening.

If you’re not sure what you have at home, we can help you work it out and recommend suitable models before you commit.
