Benefits of a Media Wall Fireplace
A media wall is a modern feature fireplace commonly built with a TV positioned above the fire.
Over the last few years, media walls have grown significantly in popularity.
Many homeowners prefer to mount their flat-screen television above a stylish, built-in fireplace.
At Midlands Fireplaces, we can be your trusted supplier when it comes to designing and installing your media wall. With our experienced fitting team, we will ensure your media wall is built to a high standard and becomes the focal point of your home. Media walls can be built entirely to your design and specification, making them a stunning centrepiece in any room.
Our showroom features several media wall fire displays, and our staff will be happy to guide you through choosing the right fire and design.
We also offer a free site survey to help you make the right decisions and receive expert advice on product selection and overall design.
What Are the Benefits of a Media Wall?
- Electric fires do not require a chimney.
- A false wall allows you to add lights, shelves, and storage for devices such as Sky boxes, consoles, and media players.
- New-build homes often lack a natural focal point — a media wall restores that feature.
- A false chimney breast can be built to any size, making the media wall fully customisable.
- All cables can be hidden inside the wall for a clean, modern appearance.
- You can finish the surface with plaster, paint, tiles, decorative boards, wallpaper or specialist finishes.
